Americana/ countryband from northern Sweden. Their debutalbum "Post the storm" (released 2012) has been played on thousand radiostations throughout Europe, USA and Australia. They've topped several Radio charts in Sweden and has recently entered the European Country Chart Top 40. In the summer of 2013 they will be playing at the main countryfestivals in Sweden and at Skagen Festival in Denmark.

BIO CRASH N RECOVERY

Crash n Recovery is a new hot country band from northern Sweden consisting of five men and a woman. The band came together in 2011 and since then, they've released the EP "The Word" (2012-03-30) and the album "Post the storm" (2012-11-02), both containing exclusively their own material.
Already, their music has been played on approximately a thousand radiostations in the US, Australia, Canada and Europe and two songs have topped several radio charts in Sweden. It started as soon as they had released their EP with the titletrack "The Word" which immediately was picked up by international radio and Crash n Recovery has continued to do well with several songs from the album.
No less than 10 songs from the album "Post the storm" have been played on air.
When it comes to the sound, Crash n Recovery is leaning more towards the old- school country than the modern pop/rock type of country. With influences such as Emmylou Harris, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash and Buck Owens, they strive for that classical country sound mixed with elements of american and british folk music.
Linda Engstroem and Roberth Johansson are the founders and songwriters of the band and the two of them have been making music together for almost five years now. The other members of the band are Johan Arveli, Daniel Jonsson, Olle Soderlind and Michael Nilsson- all professional musicians with long-time experience within the musical field.
In the summer of 2012 the band played at 6 larger festivals in Sweden and are now planning their tour for the summer of 2013 which is expected to be more extensive than the former year. Three major festivals in Scandinavia have already booked the band; High Chaparral's Country Music Festival (SE), Redneck Festival (SE) and Skagen Festival (DK).
