Simona Abdallah er en international kendt kunstner og percussionist med dansk/arabisk baggrund, der har turneret i det meste af verden siden 2004.

Hendes soloshows er energiske og passionerede, og hun optræder som gæsteartist for en række bands og orkestre i forskellige genrer. Trommeshowet egner sig særligt godt til blandt andet firmafester, private arrangementer og kick-offs ved konferencer.

Simonas tromme skaber et højt energiniveau og sætter med garanti gang i den gode stemning.

BIO:
Percussionist Simona Abdallah 
identifies herself as a Palestinian Danish. Her parents fled from to Lebanon to Germany, where Simona was born in 1979. The family subsequently moved to Denmark, where Simona spent her childhood in Denmark’s second largest city, the windy port town of Aarhus. 
 
Simona Abdallah plays Arabic percussion, primarily the Darbuka- a goblet-shaped drum and finds her inspiration through a variety of musical genres from the age of 15 and used it as a method to escape her oppressive surroundings.

The Darbouka is considered solely a masculine instrument, and is traditionally always played by men, and the pursuit of a careerd by her family, used her passion and talent to drive her forwards. 
 
Simona is lauded as the first female percussionist from an Arabic background. She has broken through the traditional expectations to enjoy internationally acclaimed success.
 
Simona Abdallah is an internationally booked artist and has been touring in Africa, Asia, Europe, USA, and the Middle East since 2004.
 
She has worked with and supported acclaimed artists like Natacha Atlas, Cheb Khaled, Tamer Hosny, Najwa Karam, DJ Said Mrad, Middle East Peace Orchestra, Efterklang, DJ Mike Sheridan, Lis Sørensen, Aura Dione, Casper Christensen & Frank Hvam, Jenny Wilson, Anisette, DR Symphony Orchestra, Oriental Tahkt, Lars Lilholt Band, and the Danish rocklegends Sort Sol.
 
Simona Abdallah is a very accomplished artist, touring with her own solo shows playing with electronic dance music, theater music, guest artist with a range of bands and orchestras in different genres and constellations, and never hesitates to gig and explore new genres with other artists.
